The Actor’s Complex

Have you ever met an actor that seems to have a complex about themselves? They believe that they are the best actor or actress in the world and that you are being blessed simply because you are in their presence. I have a theory that was proposed by  friend of mine that said ALL actor’s have this complex. However, it’s to varying degrees. I’ll admit, that sometimes I feel like the top dog of the stage, but in the end I’m just as good as anyone else who’s not on Broadway. But then you have others who assume that after a two month dry spell (because they “know” they won’t be cast once they get to New York) they will be cast as the lead in “Legally Blonde: The Musical” (which I’m sorry, I don’t consider a real musical in the slightest. “Oh my God, Oh my God you guys”?….SERIOUSLY!?)

Words of wisdom for rising actors. Just do what you love. To do theatre simply to be famous is dumb since the majority of us will not make it. Do it because it’s what you love to do and I promise it will be more satisfying.

Or don’t! Haha, keep your actor’s complex. It makes me laugh and gives my friend and I something to talk about!

Apparently girls DO want abusive boyfriends!

So apparently…based on the number of people who are on “Team Edward,” girls seem to like abusive boyfriends! Why is Edward Cullen so appealing to girls? Subconciously, do girls WANT an abusive boyfriend with stalker like tendencies? Or is it simply because girl’s want a boyfriend who is so obsessive that he will stalk her to the point of being a potential seriel killer? I didn’t think girl’s liked this, but then why the Hell are they obsessed with Edward Cullen!?!

Eddykins!!!

Ok world, so Twilight’s “New Moon” came out last night. Admittedly, I have read all the books of the Twilight series, and while they are not shakespeare by any standard, I enjoyed them….except now. Stupid Twilight Girls/Moms/whatever’s have basterdized Twilight and made it something evil and hideous and altogether quite annoying.

Although…maybe Twilight has ALWAYS been like this and those stupid Twilight Fan Girls have actually exposed Twilight for what it is… CRAP!!!

Allow me to Reintroduce Myself

Oh boy! The pressure’s on! First post…first blog….what should I say first? Guess I should tell you about me!

Well I born in a log cabin in San Diego, California….. and by log cabin I mean in an apartment above gay neighbors with lots of cats who were very kind individuals .

How about we fast forward to today, shall we? Well, I’m a 1st Senior in college. I say 1st year because I’m staying another year. Not because I’m stupid, but because I’m double majoring! I’m a Secondary Ed: History major and a theatre major. One thing you should know about me, is that I love theatre so much it borders along the lines of obsessive. I don’t think I can go a whole day without thinking about theatre. Hell! I’m thinking about monologues for an audition on Thursday as we speak…er…type. Those two things pretty much take up a majority of my time, so besides the random things that grind my gears and funny happenings, a lot of my blogs may touch on education or theatre… most of the time theatre. After all, theatre is a little more exciting to people than education, you can admit it… I promise I won’t get mad… good boy and/or girl! You get a treat!

Well I think I’ll close by stealing a qoute from a wonderful movie known as “The Truman Show”
